Does apple cider vinegar help you lose weight?

Apple cider vinegar is a type of vinegar made by fermenting apples, although many news stories on the internet have talked about its effect on weight loss, this does not correspond to scientific studies that do not support this claim.

Widely used in salads, marinades, and other culinary preparations, it has been recommended to be consumed pure before meals, in quantities ranging from 30 to 5 ml, for weight loss. However, a few scientific studies do not support this weight loss action.

Only 22 scientific studies on this subject are available on the PUBMED platform, and none of them meet accurate scientific criteria.

On the other hand, there are proven side effects, such as inflammation of the esophagus, stomach, and intestine, and dental problems, such as erosions.

Always ask your doctor before starting to use any substance, even food, to avoid wasting time and money and preserve your health.
